| 1. Is financial aid available for students? |
| The Institute offers student loans to qualifying students equal to 50% of the total tuition cost. These loans are repaid over a two year period following graduation. |
| 2. Does the Institute offer housing for students? |
| The Institute does not have student housing at this time. It will assist students to arrange housing in nearby communities, sharing when possible with other students. |
| 3. Are there any work /study programs available? |
| The Institute has a limited number of work/study positions for students who wish to earn their tuition working at various jobs for the Institute |
| 4. Do students need to purchase liability insurance or equipment? |
| The Institute purchases liability insurance for all of the students at no additional cost. The equipment needed for training (e.g. massage tables) is supplied by the School. |
| 5. Does the program qualify students for national certification? |
| The first year course of studies offered by the School meets all of the requirements for National Certification. Students will be prepared to take these exams. |
| 6. Are there employment opportunities for students available at the Institute? |
| St. Joseph Institute is the largest employer of massage therapists and holistic healthcare practitioners in the region. Students are encouraged to apply for available positions. |
| 7. Do you need to complete the Massage Therapy program to enroll in the Holistic Healthcare Program? |
| Completion of the Massage Therapy program is not a necessary prerequisite. The Director will work with you to determine if you have the necessary background and/or experience to benefit from the program. |

8. Is the school expanding the curriculum?

| The Institute for Holistic Studies offers two programs approved by the Department of Education: Diplomas in Massage Therapy and Holistic Healthcare. Additional programs and professional development courses are in development and will be launched in the fall of 2008. |
