St. Joseph Institute is a mountain resort and training center located in Central Pennsylvania, mid-way between State College and Altoona. Log and stone construction, massive beams, expansive windows, fireplaces and indoor gardens create a warm and relaxing setting.

The seven building complex includes the Laurel Wellness Center, 3 lodges for guest accommodations, a training facility, Guest Services, a chapel, and the Bald Eagle Hospitality House.

The beautiful Laurel Wellness Center is the region’s largest spa facility, offering an extensive menu of massages, skin care treatments, healing therapies, preventative healthcare and fitness programs.  The nearby Sycamore Lodge has additional treatment rooms with state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment and Spruce Lodge contains a gym with a variety of exercise machines.
