Massage Therapist and Estheticians

Cooks & kitchen help
Help prepare and serve meals that are nutritious and tasty. Most important qualifications are that you like to cook and have a great attitude. Part-time positions up to 25 hours per week. Seasonal maintenance positions

Work/Study/Volunteer Program
Description of Program:
The mission of St. Joseph Institute is to “heal and to teach.” The Wellness Center combines Eastern and Western medicine to bring greater health and wellness to people suffering from a wide range of conditions, including chronic pain, asthma, migraine headaches, fibromyalgia, digestive disorders, stress and emotional unrest. The Institute’s teaching programs focus on healing, spiritual growth and the life skills necessary for healthy relationships. Three 1 year programs (State approved) train students in holistic healthcare, providing diplomas in bodywork and massage therapy, counseling skills and spiritual direction. Retreats are offered throughout the year on a variety of topics.
Volunteers at St. Joseph Institute would work in support of these activities.
Geographic Areas of Service:
Guests and students come to the Institute from throughout the North Eastern United States, as well as other areas.
Terms of Service:
Interested individuals can make 3 month, 6 month and one year commitments with possible renewal for additional time periods. Trial visits can be arranged.
Personnel Needed:
Positions are assigned based on talents, interests and experience. Opportunities include guest relations, wellness center and health care, marketing, clerical, kitchen, television production, internet programs, maintenance and gardening.
Ages:
21 or older with no upper limit

· That recognizes the importance of maintaining good health, emotional balance, clarity in thinking and decision making, as well as an interest in spiritual growth.
· Willingness to live and work in community.
